9th - SLAM DUNK - 120 MILLION
Slam Dunk is a sports-themed manga series, illustrated and written by Takehiko Inoue on a Shohoku High School basketball team, with 31 volumes. It was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump by Shueisha in Japan from 1990 to 1996 and adapted into an anime by Toei Animation.
8th - OISHINBO - 130 MILLION
This manga was designed by Akira Hanasaki and written by TetsuKariya. And the title is a combination of Oishii, which means delicious in Japanese, and kuishinbo, a word used for a person who loves to eat. The series is about the culinary journalist Shiro Yamaoka and his adventures and Yuko Kurita, who later becomes his wife.
7th - DETECTIVE CONAN (CASE CLOSED) - 140 MILLION
This Japanese manga series was illustrated and written by Gosho Aoyama. And it was serialized in Weekly Shonen Sunday by Shogakukan since 1994, currently has 85 volumes.
There were some legal issues with the name ‘Detective Conan,’ which is why the comic’s English version was named ‘Case Closed.’ The story is about Jimmy Kudo, an amateur detective who transformed into a child when investigating the Black Organization.

This manga and anime series is written and illustrated by Takao Saito, published in Shogakukan’s Big Comic magazine since 1968, 174 volumes, and accompanies the title character, a professional hitman for hire. Golgo 13 is the oldest manga still in publication, and its tankobon edition has the third-largest volume.

Naruto is a Japanese manga series that was developed by Masashi Kishimoto, with 72 volumes. And it showcases the story of a ninja named Naruto Uzumaki, who gets recognized daily and dreams of becoming a Hokage. 2nd - DRAGON BALL - 230 MILLION
Dragon Ball is a Japanese manga, which is written by Akira Toriyama. And it was initially serialized in the Weekly Shonen Jump, with 519 individual chapters published in 42 tankobon volumes by Shueisha.
The classic Chinese novel Journey to the West inspired the writer to write this manga. The series was about Goku’s exciting adventures from when he was a kid till he transforms into an adult when he starts learning martial arts and exploring the world.
